Spectrum Guide Remote
1. First, turn on your LG TV and your Spectrum box.
2. On the remote, hold the Menu and OK buttons together until the Input button blinks twice.
3. Press the Power button on the Spectrum remote once.
4. Press and hold the Up Arrow button on the remote until your LG TV turns off.
5. When your TV turns off, your remote has found the right remote code.
Philips RC122
1. Power on the required devices and press and hold the TV and OK/SELECT buttons on your remote.
2. Now, enter the code 9 9 1 on your remote. Your remote LED will now blink twice.
3. When this happens, press the Play arrow button once.
4. Now, your TV remote will run through different remote codes automatically, and select the one that suits your TV.
Note: If the TV doesn’t get turned off, then press Rewind or Fast Forward button to run other available codes.
5. When your TV turns off, press the Select/OK button immediately on your remote.
6. Then, press the power button on the Spectrum remote, and your TV will turn on.
URC 2060
1. When the Spectrum device and LG TV are turned on, hold the Setup button on the remote until the LED turns up.
2. Hit the Power button on the remote.
3. Now, hold the OK/Select key to run through remote codes for your TV.
4. When the LG TV gets turned off, release the buttons.
5. Your remote is now successfully programmed to your LG TV.
Manual Programming
Under manual programming, you need to gather the remote codes for your TV model. You can either find them in the remote manual or by visiting the Spectrum official website. Since different types of Spectrum remotes support manual pairing, I have derived all the steps to program those remotes to your LG TV.
Spectrum Guide Remote
1. With your LG TV and Spectrum box turned on, hold the Menu and OK button on the remote twice.
2. Then, press the Power button on it once.
3. Now, you should press and hold the remote code that supports LG TV, which is 2.
4. Keep on holding the number 2 until your TV shuts off. Now, you have programmed the remote successfully.
Universal CLIKR-5: UR5U-8780L / 8790L
1. Power on your TV and Spectrum device.
2. On the Spectrum remote, hold the TV and OK/Select button until the LED pops up.
3. Now, point the remote towards your TV and enter the remote code that suits your LG TV.
LG TV Tip! The codes to program this remote are 102, 112, 143, 569, 284, 648, 363, 113, 116, and 741.
4. Since there are multiple codes available, you should try one by one to finish the programming.
5. Once the code is matched, your TV will turn off. Then, try pressing the power button again to check whether the programming is successful.
Philips RC112
1. Using the Spectrum remote, press the TV and the OK/Sel button until your LED blinks twice.
2. Now, point the remote toward your TV and enter the program code manually on your remote.
LG TV Tip! The program codes to carry out these steps are 1013, 1178, 1018, 1035, 1079, 1234, 1264, 1225, 1307, 1318, 1340, and 1373.
3. When you enter the right remote code for your TV, every button on the remote lights up thrice.
4. Once this happens, press the power button or volume to see if you can adjust the volume on your LG TV.
5. If you can, the programming is a success.
URC 2060
1. Once you turn on your LG TV, hit the Power button on the Spectrum remote.
2. Then, hold the Setup button until the LED flashes on your remote.
3. After that, enter the remote code that suits your LG TV. You can try out the following remote codes.
- 0017, 0178, 0030, 0856
4. After entering the code, hit the power button to check whether your LG TV is turning off.
5. If it does, the program is successful. If not, try repeating the steps once again.
