If you think Gallery Mode is only a showcase feature for your TV, then you’re wrong. Gallery Mode is a TV-friendly feature that you can use to make the boring black screen with aesthetic images. By enabling Gallery Mode, you can prevent your LG TV screen from Image retention and burn-in issues.
If you are looking forward to enabling Gallery mode and viewing the digital frame on your TV, then read the section below.
How to Enable Gallery Mode on LG TV
The Gallery Mode feature is available on every LG TV model (except NetCast). With this enabled, you can choose any random pictures and slideshow it on your TV when it is idle.
LG webOS 4.5 or Later
- Once turning on your LG TV, you should go to the home screen and choose the Art Gallery option.
- When you enter the themes section, choose one or more themes that you find good.
- After choosing the themes, move your Magic Remotes pointer and select the Speed and Theme Sound options.
- Now, under the My Themes section, choose the Selective Play Mode option.
- This will finish the Gallery Mode process. Once it is finished, you can see the selected images on your Idle LG TV screen.
LG webOS 3.5 & 4.0
- Using your LG TV remote control, press the Home button and choose the Gallery app on the home screen.
- Scroll through the themes available in the section and choose one more theme that picked your eye.
- After selecting one or multiple themes, go to the My Photos section to see the downloaded themes.
- Under the My Photos section, select the themes again to preview it on your TV screen.
- Now, you can view your selected themes as your TV screensaver.
Once you enable Gallery Mode on your TV, you can protect it and make your TV screen look more beautiful than before. However, the only thing we find to be a fault with Gallery Mode is that it doesn’t support custom images for slideshows. Besides that, Gallery Mode is one of the best things you can do to enhance and protect your LG TV display.
